Hey,

I'm Keely! Owner and sole operator at Beyond the Mountains Photography. It is so good to have you here, now come along and get to know me.

From mountainous

beginnings.

I grew up in small town Maine. A unique way of living to say the least when your average grocery trip is 144 miles round trip, but you learn to appreciate it for many reasons. One of those reasons being the beautiful mountain views that you can find from almost anywhere. I have a brother and two sisters, and they are my world. I have a cat named Monty and a yellow lab named Scout. My favorite food is corn beef. And yes, I am Irish if you didn't already guess that.

How did I get into photography you ask? Well, I found myself noticing the smaller, more insignificant details of the serene nature that I am surrounded by living in northern Maine, and I submersed myself into capturing that beauty through the lenses of whatever camera I could get my hands on. It wasn't long before I was sharing my images with friends and family, with hopes that my images portrayed the same awestruck feeling and serenity that I felt while capturing them. That's when I knew that I wanted my images to make people feel something.

Creating meaningful imagery

My biggest goal is to create meaningful galleries where my clients will smile, laugh, and cherish for years to come. Anyone who steps in front of my lens is going to feel their most outgoing and authentic selves, and yes that even goes for the shy people. When you work with me here at Beyond the Mountains, you aren't just working with a person and a camera, but instead with someone who truly wants to know you and your story. I want to know your dreams and your goals and whatever it is that keeps you up at night. I want to build a connection with each and everyone of you. What better way to capture truly special moments than to understand those whom you are capturing.
